Visual critique appreciated!!

just spent the last 3 days re-designing my site using UK based firm MOONFRUIT.
yes theres no audio yet but i wanted opinions on the site structure etc!

ive worked my balls off with this but all the flash work is made using their inbuilt plugins!
Ive not a clue with software like flash etc.. ive just done what i can do with their apps at hand!

opinions please on design aspect's!!!!

Looks great!

One suggestion would be to reduce/clean up the number of scroll areas. For example, in the Equipment section, there is a scroll bar on the right side to scroll the entire page, and then there are the custom graphics sroll arrows for the cymbals. This is really confusing. Whenever possible, you should use the browser's built-in window scroll bars on the FAR right.

Other than that, very nice design! Really clean.

Unforunately that's part of 'their' package!
scroll areas are set within the 'window' area!!

Well i suppose you cut corners you get corners!!
literally!

ive had my friends look at it and when ur dealing with none drummers.. ....

but saying that its cool to get a non drummers input!! :-)

Lee - congrats mate, it looks lovely to me. Normally I think that Flash can be annoying as things take ages to animate, but yours is neat and slick. The only thing that was a tad confusing was all the thumbnails and navigations on the pictures page, but maybe that's just me being a tool!

Looks great overall mate and not laborious or difficult to navigate.

I've had my site up and running for a few days now and have just put up a new vid - what do you think?

I like the layout of the site, but the photos section doesn't work quite right because even hitting the "photos" button once you select one doesn't work.. and you can't hit "back" on the browser..

Very nice site dazz! video clip is nice too well compressed loads easily even in quicktime and thats saying something!
